What is Hangangjari?
An iPhone app for checking parking spaces, park crowding, today's events, and the way there — all before you leave for the Han River.
Is it free? Do I need to sign in?
Yes, it's free. No account, no sign-in — install and you're ready.
Which parks are covered?
All 11 Hangang parks in Seoul — including Yeouido, Banpo, Ttukseom, and Jamsil — with parking, crowding, and event info.
Where does the data come from, and how often is it updated?
It draws on public data from Seoul Open Data Plaza, Seoul Real-Time City Data, the Hangang River Bureau, and the Hangang Parking Portal, collected in real time. Sources update on their own schedules, so the app always shows when each figure was last updated.
How are the space forecasts made?
Forecasts estimate spaces around your arrival time from recent availability and 28 days of history. They are not official forecasts, so on-site conditions can differ.
How are location and favorites handled?
Location is used only on your device to sort nearby parks, and favorites are stored on this device instead of a server.
Is Hangangjari an official app?
No. It is an independent app that makes public data easier to view, not an official or officially affiliated app.
Which devices are supported?
It's an iPhone app. Add the Home Screen widget and you can check spaces and crowding without even opening the app.
